Kindness Idea #2

I volunteered at the SPCA animal shelter in Roseville. I petted the dogs and gave them treats. What I did helped the dogs relax and not be as scared. I felt happy that I could be with the dogs and I knew it made the dogs happy too.

Kindness Idea #1

Our girl scout troop made pillow cases for children in the hospital. The kids were happy to have something to brighten their hospital room. I felt good that I could make someone else happy.

Hi!

We are Girl Scouts from Troop 2061 – Andrea, Holly and Skylar - and we are working on our Silver Award.  To earn the Silver Award, Girl Scouts are challenged to find an issue in the community and work to improve it.
We have decided to take action against unkindness and bullying happening to kids right here in our city by creating the BE K.I.N.D. ROSEVILLE campaign.  This stands for Kids Intentionally being Nice Daily!  We plan to raise awareness by selling silicone bracelets with our campaign title and blog address on them.  We will also provide information about simple ways people can be nice daily and encourage them to connect with us on our social media sites : Blogger, Facebook and Instagram.  We will also be putting on educational workshops about kindness and bullying at local elementary schools.

You can support us by purchasing a silicone bracelet (or 2)
